The Karesuando Kniven Johtalit Hikers Knife, Brown is a traditional Scandinavian style outdoor knife. Even though it is a compact knife, it is still very capable. It is a great knife that will fill a host of roles including: everyday carry, hiking, hunting, camping, fishing and small to medium bushcraft needs. It features a Brown Oiled Curly Birch and Reindeer Antler handle that has been hand carved to provide an incredibly comfortable grip. The Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade provides a strong cutting platform which offers excellent edge performance and corrosion resistance.

The included sheath features a maneuver-clipping making it possible to take the knife out with one hand. The sheath design also allows the knife to be fully inserted into the sheath for additional protection and retention.

The blade features an internal tang that inserts well into the handle and is secured very firmly with a high grade epoxy so that it won’t come loose. In fact, Karesuando offers a 10 year warranty that if the blade ever comes loose, you will get a new knife. The internal tang design is very beneficial from a weight perspective.
